At Plot Number Two, we value works that will resonate with undergraduate students across the world, and we want these works to have a strong sense of place. Whether these are streets we are familiar with, or roads we did not know existed, we want you to bring these places to life in a way that we have not seen before. We want to emphasise the discomfort experienced when we encounter the Other: unfamiliar scrawls, tongues and voices. This is our political statement. Now, we want to hear yours.
As undergraduate students in India, we are aware of the literary richness that exists in different languages and cultures of the world. For this reason, we are also keen to publish English translations of works in other languages as a part of our journal.
We accept fresh and original works of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and book reviews.
